His gaze swept over Mother Peacock and looked at the frightened Cherish Turner. He asked in a deep voice, "Cherish, who is she? Do you know her?"
She didn't expect that after Cherish and her son separated, Cherish would become involved with William Griffith. She felt all kinds of emotions, mostly jealousy. A woman abandoned by her own son should have been in tears, right?
But instead, Cherish ended up with someone even better, which she couldn't let go of. She tightened her grip on her bag, suppressing her anger, and gritted her teeth, "Cherish Turner! I didn't know you were such a casual girl!"
"Who are you calling casual?" Before Cherish could speak, William Griffith questioned coldly.
Mother Peacock looked at William Griffith, only to be alarmed by his gloomy handsome face. His eyes were like sharp arrows, piercing into her soul. He lit a cigarette, took a puff, and said in a calm tone, "You can eat anything you want, but you cannot speak carelessly. Understand?"
