His thick hair hid half of his eyes, which revealed a hint of sharpness.

William Griffith's gaze almost plundered over her body, not missing a single trace of Cherish Turner's eyes. He stepped forward, walking until he was right in front of her, looking down at her from above. A flash of gloom flickered in his eyes as he raised his head and pinched her chin. She felt the pain but still faced him proudly.

"Cherish, I know you want to leave. I know I cannot keep you here, but we need to have some agreement between us, otherwise, I cannot let you go."

He lifted her chin to a perfect arc and lowered his head to cover his lips with hers.

However, the temperature of his lips was so cold that it chilled her to the bone.
