Three knocks-

We went in.

Lots of sunlight-

Some wind-

Cold….

"Hey-" I said-

Two maids were on standby- and Marie was just resting. 

No visible wounds but she didn't look very good.

She just stared. 

"What happened to her?"

"She took the most damage from that battle- yet somehow survived. We did manage to heal her- however due to the severity, it'd take at least a month for her to recover fully." Lisbeth could use divine healing- a special form of healing magic that most people didn't have access to. But it'd take even her a whole month?

Just how serious was Marie's condition?

She hadn't said a word since I came in- she just stared… And eventually- "The hell happened to you?"

Wow- not a doubt.

"Long story. How're you?"

"Fine, and I have time as you can see."

She didn't look bad- but I guess looks could be deceiving.
