"Bang!"

William extended his hand, blocking the flying bottle. The bottle flew into the crowd and exploded on the face of a vociferous woman.

The woman's old face was instantly bloodied and bruised.

"Ouch! It hurts!"

The woman immediately clutched her face and yelled at William, "The doctor hit me!"

"Why am I so unlucky? I just voiced a valid opinion."

"It hurts! The doctor hit me! He has hit me!" The woman sat down on the ground, wailing piteously.

Seeing this, all the patients around got angry. One after another, they stepped forward, crowding William and Ruth, blocking them in.

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Why are you assaulting people?"

"Are you even fit to be a doctor?"

"Do you still want to keep your job? A doctor hitting a patient?"

A few burly men stepped forward, rage in their eyes. They had been feeble when they had been waiting in line but now they looked ready for a fight.

William didn't think this much.
