When she was convinced that it was all in her mind, she looked away only to be confronted by a scary shadow on the wall.

She tried to reach for her bottles but the hands of the intruder were too fast, they pulled her away and tugged her towards... him?

"Goben?" She whispered, breathless with relief.

"My Sorceress." He said, placing his forehead against hers.

"You scared me."

"I'm sorry."

She wrapped her arms around him in a warm embrace, he smelt a little like mud, and a lot like dew and forest woods.

He must have washed up by a river before coming here.

Oh, how much she had missed him.

She pulled away, looking at his face, observing the eye bags underneath his eye lids before frowning suddenly.

"You are supposed to be back--" she stopped, suddenly panicking. "Did you come alone?"

"Yes."

"Did something happen? Where are the rest?"
