บท 90: Creeping Shadow

With Souzane's voice unexpectedly coming into their ears, they all felt a sudden shiver that lasted less than a second.

Kola gulped as he watched his boss approach him with a stern look on her face.

Souzane continued to walk until she reached Kola. She was so close to him that the breath of air from their nostrils touched each other.

Souzane's gaze pierced the core of Kola's being and while Kola tried to keep himself composed enough to return the gaze, there was a subtle trembling of his body.

"He should take up the mantle of leadership and do what with it, Kola!" Souzane raged.

Souzane was acting under a false assumption. But if we consider the recent happenings involving them, she may not be blamed for assuming such a thing.

Following the divulgence of Whisper's betrayal, the trust that Souzane once held in her crew shattered completely into irreparable shards.
