Although it was broad daylight, Snoke, riddled with bullet holes and impaled by Jack's silver spear, exuded an eerie atmosphere that sent chills down our spines.
"Wang Lin! We must pursue him. This Snoke is likely an evil creature conjured by Western magic. Each time he is severely injured or killed, he mysteriously resurrects, gaining even greater strength."
"Damn it, how did we end up facing such an opponent!"
After Eight Wells Masaru's loud warning, he took off in pursuit, while the Wolf King and Jack lagged slightly behind.
After sprinting several hundred meters in pursuit of Eight Wells Masaru, I noticed that the two of them had not kept up.
What exactly is an undead being, and what special abilities does it possess?
Watching Snoke sprint faster ahead, I couldn't help but regret not having asked Lilith to pilot a helicopter in the chase; with just our legs, it seemed nearly impossible to catch up with this monster, Snoke.
"Let's hold these questions for later!"
Unlike me, who practiced an unnamed martial arts technique, Eight Wells Masaru managed to maintain steady breathing as he ran, though he seemed strained when he answered me, and I hesitated to ask further questions.
Seeing that no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't catch up to Snoke, I suddenly had a flash of inspiration and employed the Flying Blossom Leaf Kick. Instantly, my steps became remarkably light.
The Flying Blossom Leaf Kick is a Level Four martial arts card, superior in efficacy to both the Void Sky Soaring Palm and the Wild Sand Blade Technique. Once I unleashed this leg technique, I felt an incessant surge of internal energy, my body grew lighter by a third, and my speed increased drastically.
If this leg technique were fully cultivated, the enhancements to speed and jumping ability would likely surpass the added capabilities of the Longsword Ancient Moon. Moreover, using the Flying Blossom Leaf Kick would be much more convenient in combat than wielding a large knife! In front of Eight Wells Masaru, I was reluctant to bring out the Longsword Ancient Moon; initially trying it out, I hadn't anticipated that the Flying Blossom Leaf Kick would possess even greater power than I had imagined.
After a few leaps, I closed the distance to Snoke. In this situation, I decided against revealing the stolen goods to provoke Eight Wells Masaru further.
I didn't want to kill Snoke; I just didn't want him constantly on my mind. If anything, I should blame his foul temper.
I gently kicked the silver spear that pierced Snoke, propelled by the impact; the spear shot out from in front of him.
Once again severely injured, even with his formidable physique, Snoke couldn't suppress a pained cry as he collapsed to the ground. I took the opportunity to flip over him and grabbed the silver spear. Upon grasping it, I couldn't help but be surprised by its weight.
When Jack threw the silver spear, it seemed effortless, as if it weighed nothing; I had assumed it was light.
However, this less-than-forty-centimeter-long, finger-thick object weighed at least twenty kilograms, causing me to question Jack's strength. The spear was adorned with intricate symbols along its length, resembling complex incantations, while its exceptional resilience vibrated with a low hum when shaken, even more so than the Longsword Ancient Moon.
"You all should die!" Snoke slowly rose, bellowing loudly. Caught between Eight Wells Masaru and me, he had no escape left.
Eight Wells Masaru drew a knight's sword obtained from someone, proclaiming, "Snoke, if you wish for our demise, you should first ask yourself if you have the ability to do so!"
He traced a finger along the cross-guard of the sword, and a trickle of blood formed a peculiar rune on the knight's sword; with a flick of his wrist, he enveloped Snoke in a shimmering light.
If nothing went awry, this strike from Eight Wells Masaru would surely cleave Snoke into eight pieces. His swordsmanship surpassed anything I had envisioned; he clearly possessed genuine skill, far beyond my own, limited to only the Flying Sand Moving Stones technique.
Snoke crossed his arms defiantly, not dodging or evading, but retaliated fiercely. Eight Wells Masaru's sword struck true, yet the impact resembled the dull thud of striking a thick tire, failing to inflict any substantial harm.
"Not good!"
A look of disbelief crossed Eight Wells Masaru's face, momentarily slowing his movements. This tiny opening could be fatal against a fierce opponent like Snoke. I hurled the silver spear with all my might, hoping it would reach in time.
With a thud, Eight Wells Masaru was sent flying by Snoke's charge, while my thrown silver spear struck Snoke's left shoulder, its immense force causing him to stagger, leading to a kick aimed at Eight Wells Masaru that instead smashed into the ground.
Even from a distance, I could feel the earth tremble beneath that kick.
What incredible leg strength this must possess! If Eight Wells Masaru were to lose his combat ability, I doubted I could take down this monster on my own!
With worry in my heart, I didn't slow my actions; my power armor enveloped me in an instant as I unleashed a punch, revealing a daunting strength of thirty thousand.
Snoke dismissed my attack with a twist of his body, countering with a punch of his own. His fighting style was straightforward, perfectly matching my choice.
"Idiot! If you had thirty thousand in strength, you could have taken us all down without fleeing!"
I cursed inwardly. My steel arm, in terms of hardness and force, surpassed Snoke's flesh. When our fists collided, I heard the sickening crunch of bones breaking, akin to a train colliding with a car.
Snoke was sent flying from the impact, and I casually shook my arm; despite the protective features of the power armor, my right hand still felt numb.
Seeing Snoke already downed on the ground, I approached slowly, grasping the silver spear embedded in his shoulder and pulled it out with force. Neither the Wolf King's bullets nor Eight Wells Masaru's sword could inflict lethal damage on Snoke, yet this silver spear wielded a mysterious power, perhaps the best weapon against a creature like him.
"Are you going to kill me?"
As Snoke spat blood, his face contorted with extreme anger as he questioned me.
"Not necessarily. If I were assured you wouldn't come after me in the future, I wouldn't intend for this to be so bloody!"
"Unfortunately, you haven't given me that confidence!"
