บท 328: 04.17 Rotting dreams

"Colby .. do you think the rescue mission is viable?" People kept asking for what I thought of the situation, but really, I don't have the answer to everything. I should understand this myself too, I can't always be reliable. I may even have to let people down dometimes. That's just how things work.

My people may even let me down too, I should be a little tolerant towards them .. just a little. If they do anything utterly stupid, I'd still punch them. LanXu did too, and it worked bloody well. Violence solves everything .. that's arguable. Point is .. I have a lot of growing up left to do. And I too am a pathetic human, like anyone else. So it's fine to lose myself every once in a while.

"No. It's unreliable and stupid." Colby bought me down to earth with just a few words.

".. Then why didn't you say anything?"

"It's none of my concern." Ah .. reminds me of a certain someone.
