บท 1: Reincarnation
College really is shit.
like I enjoy it, but holy hell, never did i think i would smoke this much in my life, drink this much, fuck this much. I don' think in my 2 years of college I spent wore than 50 days sober or not high.
I barely had any time to watch anime, play games, read manga or any of that because i was just so broke all the time so i needed to work a lot, i was a lifeguard though so i got paid pretty well and i got a lot of work when working for 3 different pools/sports center's.
The jobs were easy as well, I mean, who wouldn't wanna get paid to just sit down all day and scream at people, well, it was more than that but you get the gist.
But, I am dead. I don't know how I died but I am currently standing, or am I lying down? well, Doesn't matter but I am in a very open space filled with nothing.
Quite literally nothing, apart from this Being in front of me. I don't know who or what they are cause I cant see their face but they have a humanoid body.
"So who are you?" I ask
"I am God" the other person says
"Why am I here?" I question the God
"Because I felt like it" the God said
"really? just because? there's not another reason I'm here or something?" I ask again heavily confused by the situation.
"Do I need a reason to do something, I am God after all." God said which does make sense, why would God need a reason to do something.
"so I have decided to reincarnate you into another world which in your world goes by the name of 'reformation of the deadbeat noble', you will choose the one of the people that i have selected and you will gain their powers and memories. you will be reborn as a baby and therefore won't regain their full power until you reach a certain age, that age will change depending on how much you train. do you understand." the God said
"yes" I replied it was very simple after all. and not log after 10 characters appeared in front of me with their names.
1 - Dracule Mihawk (one piece)
2 - Sasaki Kojiro (Fate)
3 - Shigehira (superhuman era)
4 - Licht Bach (Plunderer)
5 - Guts (Beserk)
6 - Afro samurai (afro samurai)
7 - yoriichi tsugikuni (demon slayer)
8 - King Bradley (fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood)
9 - Ikki Kurogane (chivalry of a failed knight)
10 - Shura Kirigakure (blue exorcist)
'wow, these are some good characters for the world I'm going to. it isn't a ridiculously strong world, but from my knowledge some of the characters wouldn't be very strong in that world. First who do i not know about, guts and afro samurai, i have heard of them but haven't watched their series so their out. Next comes Yoriichi, Bradley, Ikki and Shura purely because i don't think they are strong enough for the world. I don't like Mihawk's sword so i will leave him as well.' I think to myself
"how long do I have to decide who I pick" I ask
"as long as you need" God answers
'I will probably have to drop Shigehira as well as I don't know much about him apart from the fact that he was a really good swordsman. Now we have 2, Sasaki on pure skills alone could body a weakened saber, and the only reason saber won the second fight was because his sword was a normal sword compared to saber's excalibur and got bent resulting in him losing as well as saber being the servant of the main character'
'On the other hand we have Licht who was a great swordsman himself with and un-naturally long sword. he could casually move faster than sound and remember seeing somewhere that he is almost as fast as light or might even be faster than light.' I thought
"will I gain the memories and personalities of the person I choose" I ask God again
"That is for you to choose if you want just memories, personality or both" the God says
"Do I get to choose the background when I enter the world" I questioned the God yet again
"yes" the God answers very simply
'I will probably choose Licht then as the only problem he had was that he was too kind and never wanted to kill anyone, if i got their personalities i would have gone with Sasaki who doesn't have a problem with killing as the no killing might become a problem in the future. Wait!' "Do I get their equipment like armor and weapons of who I choose" I ask God once again.
"Yes you will get their equipment that will be stored in a sub-space until you take them out and you will not be able to put it back, you will only be able to take things out, the weapon will be nigh indestructible as well" the God answers once again
"will my powers be limited by Schmelman's murderous intent to get stronger or will I be given all his powers without his influence?" I ask again in a very serious tone as this will change my answer if i am affected by Schmelman's murderous intent.
"no you will gain his full power without Schmelman's influence" the God said once again
'good another plus to Licht then, I really can't find any fault with choosing him in both physical skills and sword skills' I think one last time
"will I get Lichts Immortality" I ask the God
" yes you will not age once you turn 20 but you can still be killed" the God replies
"so how will the aura work with Lichts power and how will they mesh together?" I question the God once again
"you will have to find that out yourself when you arrive in your world" the God answers calmly once again
"well then I choose number 4, Licht Bach" I say with conviction that even Jail would be proud of.
"now that you have chosen what do you want your background to be like in your new world" the God asks
"I would Like to be the child of Schmelman who is a retainer to Joshua Lindsay who has a noble rank of Baron I would like to be the same age as Ilya with my parents having no problems about me training very hard from an early age" I say as this way i can get the plot armor with knowing the main heroine, and no i will not steal Ilya for I am not that kind of person.
"that's fine and now everything is done i will be sending you to another world now, have a fun life" God says then waves his arm and my vision goes dark.
(3rd POV)
In a large room with many people in it was a woman with striking white hair was on a bed screaming in pain due to childbirth
"come on, one last big push lady Bach" says the nurse between the lady's legs
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" screams the lady once again before she quiets down and looks toward the nurse who after some time shows the lady her baby and hands the baby to the lady before she falls asleep.
the nurse takes back the baby and cleans the baby for the first time and performs some simple movements before placing the baby in a crib next to the mother with a maid on standby inside the room just in case something happens
2 days later a man is seen walking towards the small mansion, this man is quite tall has shoulder length golden blond hair with a monocle over his right eye wearing a formal military outfit and is followed by 4 knights in silver armor wearing helmets
the gate opens and the man walks through the gates, he is greeted by a maid who says something to the man who's eyes widen and pupils dilate before he disappears from the spot running through the hose before he arrives at the room with his wife and son in and opening the door
(Licht POV)
not much goes on as a baby, very boring but not alone as i am with my mother most of the time, or with a maid so i was never alone but i can't move, or see really, a baby's eyes are closed most of the time because you don't really have great strength as a baby but from the limited time i could open them i could get the general situation
but i haven't seen my dad yet which is quite confusing because knowing his personality he would have been here even if he had to destroy the world, and another thing is my mother is someone i know from an anime i watched in my past life, Fuka Kiryuin but her name here in Fuka Bach here for some reason
well, not complaining just don't think that's how Japanese works but we move, and another thing is that the people here are speaking English for another strange reason another thing that has playing in my tiny mind this past day.
*wham*
the loud noise caught my attention immediately and pulled me out of my thought process i try to look towards that direction but as i said before, moving is a massive problem as all i can do is kick my legs but not a second later i see a face over my crib, it was a man, he was blonde with a monocle
this was my father and before i could do anything he picked me up and hugged me, i think he may have even started crying but i couldn't see that, this does remind me of when the real Licht called him father in his original world
Schmelman was unable to have children and he accepted that, but when Licht called him his father he broke down in tears while hugging Licht, this is actually how Licht got his name after Schmelman adopted him
this was a reason why i wanted him as my father, he was extremely strong and very kind to everyone and even supporting their impossible dreams as who wouldn't want parents that support them no matter the path they may choose
as i thought about that my came into the group hug as well apparently my mother wanted my father to give me my name so i had actually been unnamed till now, and the name my father game me was Licht Bach.
