In fact, there's something else that really impresses Kara. Besides adding some clothes that are more in line with the style around her, she also needs to add various daily necessities, including tableware.

Even though it wasn't Thanksgiving, they still felt that having two children was a gift from God, so they prepared turkey to eat that night.
In short, Kara and Clark successfully integrated into this small family from the first day they arrived on Earth, which was a very smooth start.
Kara also breathed a sigh of relief; she no longer had to wander alone in this strange world. Otherwise, she wouldn't have known what to do.
Since that day had been too sudden, there was no time to prepare a room for Kara and Clark. After dinner, Jonathan moved to the couch in the living room downstairs.
Upstairs, in their room, Martha took Clark and Kara to the queen-size bed.
After so much going back and forth, Kara soon fell asleep, and Clark, lying beside her, made her feel more at ease with the sound of his breathing as he slept.
After a night of rest, Kara woke up the next day full of energy, but she obviously hadn't yet fully adapted to the current life, which would take more time.
Jonathan and Martha weren't in a hurry for Kara to accept them immediately; instead, they hoped she would take her time and subtly grow to accept them with sincere feelings.
After all, Kara have her own feelings and memories not like Clark did.
Then Jonathan took care of the farm and used his spare time to help Kara decorate her room. He put Clark's crib in her room without Kara even asking.
This also made Kara more satisfied with the attitude of her adoptive parents.
Although Martha was obviously a better option for taking care of Clark, at least for a short period of time, Kara definitely wanted to protect her younger brother herself.
At the same time, to compensate her adoptive parents, Kara also decided to take the initiative to help out on the farm, dressing in farmer's clothes.

Later, Jonathan waited for Kara to get used to the current life before paying to send her to a school in a nearby town.
Jonathan was truly a wise person. He wasn't in a hurry but waited until Kara really trusted them and was sure they would take care of Clark before sending her to school.

She still remembers the day when she unconsciously called her adoptive parents "Dad" and "Mom." The elderly couple hugged each other emotionally, moved to tears.

Time flies.
In the blink of an eye, five years have passed since Kara arrived on Earth and in this home. During this time, she has completely mastered her powers and super abilities, and she's even snuck out at night to master the ability of flight.

Kara understood Jonathan's concern and readily agreed that she would only go out when no one was around, to avoid causing trouble.

Clark has also grown. He is now five years old, ten years younger than Kara, and he's no longer a baby that needs to be held and cared for.
The five-year-old Clark currently attends kindergarten or preschool. He leaves with his sister Kara every morning, and in the evening, as he gets out of school earlier, Martha or Jonathan pick him up.
It's just that Clark has been having some problems lately, and he doesn't know what's going on. Sometimes he hears some inexplicable voices, like whispers from far-off people or soft knocks on tables.
