บท 106: Chapter 106: Krypton, Already Destroyed

A biological field enveloped a group of Labor Council's destitute members, flowing like a river from the foundation of the city in H'el's hands. They arranged themselves on the square like a row of dominoes, leaving enough space between them for a fist-sized gap once they were restored.

H'el's first selection included forty individuals with ideals, ambitions, and the belief that they would be his capable assistants in implementing the agenda of reforming the poor and guiding faith in him among the lower class. They would also handle high-level changes in the Scientific Council, Military Council, and Arts Council, concealing everything H'el had done at the time.

Next in line were the leaders of the familiar Poor Reform Army. Below them were the faces that H'el had briefly glimpsed and can vividly recall.

Over 300,000 Kryptonian Labor Council members, as well as those familiar faces from H'el's past, were among the individuals he considered closest and trusted the most. They now lay like ants on the platform.

Thankfully, the entire atmosphere of Zero's Dominion was adjusted to match the Kryptonian atmosphere, but there were no air currents in circulation, meaning there was no wind.

Otherwise, the 300,000 ant-sized Kryptonians would have been blown away in all directions.

Their size reduction involved altering not only their basic mass and density but also fundamental properties.

*Buzz...*

Having arranged the 300,000 members of the Poor Reform Army and his former assistants, H'el controlled the AllSpark, which floated up into the sky and expanded to a size of 500 kilometers.

With H'el's guidance, the AllSpark emitted a gentle energy, interspersed with Kryptonian genetic information, which enveloped the entire square like a gentle water curtain.

H'el opportunistically utilized his size-changing ability, which was already applied to the 300,000 Kryptonians in the square.

The Kryptonians on the square began to slowly grow, transitioning from ant-sized to infant-sized, then two years old, five years old, ten years old, and finally fifteen years old before being restored to their original state.

At the moment of their restoration, the moment when their genes would have collapsed, the energy information from the AllSpark began to impact the genetic information of each Kryptonian on the verge of collapse, directly replacing the impending breakdown with new genetic information.

Operating this process was complex, but in practice, it took only two or three seconds. Within that time, the three hundred thousand people were restored to their original state, lying on the square, blinking in bewilderment, and some started to get up.

"What's going on?"

"Why am I here?"

"Damn it!"

"Didn't I see a distant volcanic eruption? How did I end up here?"

"Where is this?"

"Kidnapping?"

"Who dares to touch me? My friend is Chester from Kudala Street."

"Damn it, where's my money?"

"Followers of the New Faith, have we been discovered? Attack! For a new hope!"

"Is this a kidnapping?"

"Everyone, calm down, we've encountered a mysterious event."

"What happened to my communicator?"

"Where's my wife?"

In the large awakening square of three hundred thousand people, a multitude of individuals began to look around in confusion. It was a sea of people, all packed within arm's reach, constantly bumping into each other. Those trapped inside immediately felt restless and uneasy, and the restlessness threatened to escalate into chaos.

"You are... H'el, the god of the New Faith! It's H'el, the god of the New Faith!"

Someone noticed the black figure hovering in the air, H'el, who was watching them, and loudly called out. New Faith leaders who had previous contact with H'el joined in, trying to calm the unfamiliar environment's restlessness.

"Is it finally time to take action?"

"The god has officially appeared; it's our time to rise!"

"Crush those putrid Kryptonian elites!"

"Disrupt their council, destroy them, destroy this group of politicians who only look down on us!"

"With the hands of laborers, we will forge a world of equality and freedom!"

"The old gods forced us to live in humiliation under the privileged; the new god leads us in the struggle. The dawn of new hope is upon us, let's reclaim everything we've created. Praise H'el, the god!"

"H'el, the god! H'el, the god! H'el, the god! H'el, the god! H'el, the god!"

Some New Faith followers were moved to tears, overjoyed to finally witness the appearance of their god. They punched the air repeatedly, their neck arteries bulging, and their faces turned a fiery red as they fervently chanted H'el's name.

Some among the uninformed were caught up in the fervent atmosphere. They were aware of the powerful New Faith, an assembly of a vast population united by the goal of reform. Fueled by the overwhelming emotions around them, they raised their fists together, yelling towards the sky, their faces reddened with anger, releasing all the pent-up humiliation they had endured.

One person, his voice hoarse from shouting, recalled an incident where he had witnessed injustice firsthand. His little sister had been brutally beaten and left to die in the intensive care unit because she refused to exchange chat codes with them. She had died without receiving proper treatment, and her assailants faced no consequences. He was left with no recourse, his family wronged and perished, tears streaming down his face as he bitterly hated this Kryptonian society.

Another person's angry yells left him voiceless as he remembered the technological innovations and reforms that rendered his talents useless. He had walked the streets hungry, stomach cramping, as people in flying cars callously threw half-eaten food at him without an apology. The car owner had not apologized but instead driven away with disdain. He was too hungry and humiliated to care, so he picked up the half-eaten food and devoured it while crying, unable to taste the goodness of the meal.

Krypton could feed everyone, but it didn't ensure that everyone was fed.

Others simply couldn't accept being confined to laborer positions, their existence merely a means to pacify the lower-class citizens, providing just enough to keep them alive, repeating the cycle of despair.

They shouted, "H'el, the god!" but beneath their cries were deep-seated anger and injustice.

H'el's gaze scanned the crowd and settled on Vanze, who had discovered him earlier. Vanze was the leader of the Poor Reform Army, harboring ambitions to change the fate of the underprivileged. H'el had ordered him to lead the Poor Reform Army when he revealed himself as a god of reform.

It seemed Vanze hadn't forgotten H'el's words.

However, H'el extended his hand and gently pressed down, silencing the wave of fervent shouts from the citizens who had chanted his name. Their passionate outcries gradually subsided, leaving behind an excited flush.

"Krypton has already been destroyed."
