Fortunately, the watch continued to function, and they became aware of the swift passage of time - they had spent five hours trapped in the mirrored enclosure. This led Penny to wonder whether the spell had been cast solely upon them, or whether it affected every participant of the examination.

The weather remained unaltered, the dullness of the overcast sky matched by the dampness underfoot.
