บท 6: Hi

After the scorching light was life,
Before the blinding light was darkness,
They are painful,
Calling out to me, which do I choose?
"Here's your coffee sir." A waitress with a black apron, carrying multiple drinks, handed me a coffee. It's the same cafe from that meeting I had with End'r, but it isn't around. Just me at this table, and a drink. I must think, what was I doing before I got here. Oh yeah that girl was about to kill me but I used the power that I still have little idea of how to use to escape her. But, did I die? If I didn't, then I have to wake up otherwise she will kill me. But before I think of any of that is this world real? Everyone's face is blurry unless I look really hard, like my mind creating an image for them. That's trippy (I took a sip of coffee).
"Well time to leave, I guess." I stood up and walked out of the coffee shop.
The voice took over
"Huuugh, Hugh, Hugh," my breathing was yet stable. I have to calm down somehow. I was in the room that the void once took over.
"Breath, take deep breaths." Thanks random voice that sounded feminine. Wait what, someone was watching over me. I turned and looked it was a female 'demon'? She had some form of armor, pretty red eyes and nice hair. She also had a bow and a sword with her with arrows that looked like the ones that shot at m- ooooh.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" Wow fear is really something.
"Calm down." No I don't think I will, "Now release me from this bind so I can kill you, human." She was caring at first but then very evil.
"Why would I do that?" I don't know what a bind is but she doesn't need to know that.
"So your death will be quick."
"No, how about I get out of this room and you stay here." She didn't look happy with that response. "How about this help me with my quest, and I'll convince you not to kill me." I should just never release her from her bind. She looked at me with raging eyes. "If you are blinded then that means you have to do what I say. So I command that you accept my proposal."
"I accept." She looked pained then angry, then as she realized what she said, very sad. "Why, YOU MONSTER!"
"What?!"
"You forced a girl to accept your proposal!" That just sounds wrong
"You are lacking context, I mean, accept my trade."
"But it's already been done." Sobbing, I couldn't help but feel bad for her. But she did just try to kill me so I guess we are even now.
So a girl is sobbing next to me, after trying to kill me. I just made her accept my proposal, maybe that word has different meaning here. The absurdity of this situation is too much. I think I'm just gonna sleep now.
Night shifted into day
"Morning." It was pretty early at least not dark outside. The Demoness was sleeping right next to me in full armor. "Wake up." Did I even tell her what I was gonna do?
"Whaat, 5 more minutes." Lazy, but I can relate.
"Be up in 4 minutes then." I am evil, "we are going to meet someone that can help me with this power."
"Did you do anything to me while I was sleeping?" She nervously asked. No no, I can resist maybe.
"No, I didn't do anything."
"But I thought all males like intercourse."
"Ahem, that may be 82% accurate, but that isn't love."
"What is love?"
"Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more." [alright I'm gonna stop before copyright hits me]
"What?"
"Nothing love is when two people,,, it's hard to explain. You'll learn it as you go through your life." This girl not know what love is? "Well anyways are you ready to leave?"
"Not yet, sleep now."
"Alright come find me I'll be outside."
The void.
The void was quiet. Except for the Human that claimed my power. He doesn't yet know the full weight of what he is doing, all the lives at risk, the realms that will fall into chaos. He truly is a hope for someone. The throne room was empty, except for me on the throne. It was truly lonely, and boring waiting for the king of demons to knock on my door step.
