บท 71: Truth of the past

'Is it this easy?' Cristian pondered while slowly walking toward the sleeping beast. He already figured out this was the beast that disguised himself as a sun God and also possessed Li Yun.

[Second test: Temptation and past]

The system was getting more cryptic, and it annoyed him, for he could not predict what would happen next. Wasn't he supposed to take that sword and kill the beast?

It looked so easy that he could hardly believe that the quest would end so easily.

Suddenly, the beast opened his gigantic red eyes. The chains covered in runes made cranking sounds as the dragon, which had red scales, massive horns, and a tail with spikes, turned its long neck and stared at him.

Cristian stopped just by gazing into Cain's eyes. A heavy pressure descended on him, forcing his legs to tremble.

"Vlad, oh Vlad, I've been waiting for you." Cain's booming voice made the carven tremble.
