Elder gods or goddesses were more powerful than high gods, who were in turn more powerful than low gods or goddesses.

Demeter was a secretive goddess that was rarely seen in the earth or sky realms. Her presence was so minute, yet her name never died away; as long as war, demons, dark elves, and other worshippers of the underworld gods and goddesses existed.

Although she wasn't known to be a good combatant, her infamy for sneaky and underhanded attacks had spread among the high echelons of the world.

After dressing his bed, Cristian lay on it, staring at the moon from the open window. 

He tried contacting Lia but received no answer. His little wife must be overwhelmed by everything that happened.

Calling her little when she was almost a hundred years older than him wouldn't sound weird when he was a lot older than her in his soul age.
