A strange tension enveloped them and Cristian let go of her wrist and took three steps back.

"Ah!" Catalina held her aching wrist, which was already bruised due to how he roughly pinned her.

"In all my life, you've been the second most unreasonable man I've met." She hissed. Blinking rapidly when she felt the temperature increase, Catalina raised her head and saw Cristian's casual gaze but a dreadful light was brewing within.

"Umm, you're by far the only unreasonable man I've ever met." Catalina shook her head, unable to believe that the reason for the spike was because she placed him along with someone else.

Stretching her hands, a crystal blue shard came from the rubbles and into her hands. "It's the shard of a Tier 3 beast; I could..."

Stunned when Cristian took the shard and absorbed it, Catalina's eyes blazed. "You!.."

Easily sealing her lips with his thumb, he opened his void space and several Tier 1 and Tier 2 shards fell to the ground.
