Standing in pitch darkness, Cristian did not feel an ounce of fear but felt at peace. His proficiency with decay was high, but other elements still had vast frontiers unexplored and were waiting for him to go deep and unleash formidable spells.

Suddenly, the sound of something moving toward him rang in his ears, causing him to turn, but it was worthless as he couldn't see far.

He wasn't that good with darkness to see as bright as day under another being's spell.

With a steady heart, Cristian slowly puffed out, struggling to calm his tension, for this was the first time he fought against a being this adept in the darkness element.

A gleam reflected in his eyes, and before he could react, a large gash appeared at his back, blood dripping while he gritted his teeth.

"Haaa!" 

His loud voice, empowered with mana, created a ripple when he felt it coming for him once again.
