"Cedric!" I screamed as I ran toward him in an effort to stop him from falling, and I was able to catch him in my arms before he hit the ground.

It was crazy how quickly my mood had changed from being extremely angry and spiteful to being extra worried and anxious about the same person to whom my negative emotions were directed. 

A short while ago, I wanted nothing more than to punch this guy in the face more than I've ever wanted anything else in my entire life. Now? I was busy crying for help while simultaneously attempting to hold him in a straight position.

He didn't seem all that ponderous to me for a man of his height and size; in fact, I'd go so far as to say that I found him to be surprisingly light.

As a result of my inability to get a good hold on Alpha Cedric's body while holding the Ruby waistband in my hand, I set it down on the table.
