บท 18: Chapter 16: New Ride
A fantastically soft hand is touching your Face, the hand means to slowly wake you up.
You hear a sweet and soothing voice whispering into your Ear, it reminds you of all the dreams you had in the past.
Dreams of living the life you always wanted.
Being welcomed home by your beautiful Wife, your Children playing in the living room laughing and having fun.
Soon the Dream fades...feeling a slow shaking you awake.
"Master~ are you awake~ ?" Kate says stroking your cheek.
"Yeah I am here...that was a miracle of a dream." you say, stretching.
Having stretched enough to feel truly awake, you notice that Kate's cheeks are bright red.
"Are you sick Kate?" you ask her.
She frowns over your question, seeming annoyed by it or perhaps by your lack of attention.
"Say Master~, what would you do if I broke your Rifle ?" Kate asks, drawing circles on your chest
"Try and fix it, and probably scold you a bit." you say, looking at her with a confused look.
She lets out a suppressed moan as if expecting more aggressive action from your end.
"Don't tell me you...are in--" you try to speak but she puts a finger on your mouth, going up your shirt the other hand.
"Katie and I have decided to share your love, be it more carnal~ or just normal physical contact." Katie says, rubbing her legs together.
You give her a smile and put a hand around her, stroking her nape gently.
"Hmm~ you said you were single in the past, how do you know where to make me feel your love~" Kate says, putting her hand on your heart.
"I read some cultural material before the Outbreak." you say, going down her back towards her hips
The two of you kiss and touch each other for the rest of the morning.
"Master you such a naughty one~" Kate says, trying to wake her sister.
" *dominant laugh* I know how to get what I want." you say, getting dressed.
After all of you are awake, you three move to the kitchen to get breakfast.
Because of your past Operations in this area, you found Shelter in Deiya's house most of the times.
She often hid you from her Sisters as they would probably throw you out if they found out you were even sleeping in their House.
A while after Breakfast, you think of a way to fix the Water problem. Some of the Piping is above-ground, so it is easy to do maintenance on them. This could also lead to intentional damage from local Aggressors.
Deiya shows you a map of the local area, it shows the exact way of the Piping coming from across the County leading straight into the Heart of the Country. Therefore the Possibility of checking the Source of the Water is a clear no-go.
She also points out the possibility of checking Lootcaches. There is a high chance that none of them where discovered until now.
The Lootcaches were left behind by a now disappeared Survivor Group, the idea behind them was to act as a "Ressuply Station" for their Field Operations.
Stocked with Ammo, Food and Water these Caches can yield high-value item to the skilled Treasure Hunter.
"Well Deiya, it seems that I might have to resort to calling Miss Katya." you say, starring at the Map in front of you.
"I wouldn't mind that, I would like to ask her a couple of things." Deiya says, excited.
Having agreed to a Trade, Deiyas gives you the Wares you wanted in exchange for your final help.
Sending out a couple of messages, all you now have to do is wait for the Help to arrive.
Four Hours later, a Convoy of Armored trucks and Armor Troop Carriers arrive at the Gate.
The Guards look confused as they Military Vehicles enter their town.
Disembarking from their Vehicles are Military Personnel including some Armored Soldiers showing that this is truly Katya's Convoy.
"Dan! How are you? I received your Messages and organized a little something here. My Daughters remained in the Care of your good fox friend Ava." Katya says, waving at you.
You greet each other and proceed to talk business.
The talks progress up to the point of finishing the Houses in town and making conditions better for everyone.
"I got people on it already please rest assured Deiya. You brought me and my Subordinates, excluding Dan and his Foxes, a lot of valuable and crucial information. This is the least I can do." Katya says, Deiya lights up like never seen before even her Sisters including May now do the same.
The Talks go on for another hour, in the end. Deiyas Outpost will receive a major make-over. A supply line will be established nearby for ease of access and finally, the Houses are getting finished and get new and high-quality Furniture.
As Katya was about to leave, she turns back to you.
"Want a lift ?" she asks.
"I humbly have to reject your offer, I got heavy Wares for transport. I will wait for the next train home." you say, Katya gives you a laugh.
"Dan~, you're a Jester sometimes, do you see these trucks?" she says, pointing at the trucks behind her.
You look confused at them as if you don't recognize them.
"These are the new Generation of Armored Trucks, these resist even some Tank Shells." she says, calling over one of her Soldiers.
The soldier hands her a Key, possibly to one of the Trucks.
"Here, this will be your's from now on. Brand new, Powerful Engine and Top-Class Protection." she says, putting the Key in your hand.
Your Foxes jump up from happiness hearing Katya's words.
"Owner that's fantastic! We can finally drive around!" Katie says, excitedly wagging her tail.
"Master you can finally show us around the area!" Kate says, wagging her tail like never before.
"Thank you very much, Miss Katya." you say, looking at the key.
Pressing the Unlock button on the Key unlocks the Truck that is the one in front of you.
"Miss Katya how can I thank you for this other than with words ?" you ask Katya.
"Take your Girlfriends for a ride, and show them that raw Russian Horse Power. Also, when you are back in town, you better continue our Vacation, we are not leaving without you showing us what you promised! Is that clear?" she asks.
With a bow and a salute, she enters her vehicle satisfied with today's results.
Together with your Foxes, you load the Supplies and Weapons Cases into the back of the Truck.
It seems to be the special modification, as the only model that is out currently and in production is the Troop Carrier Model of this Vehicle.
"Owner, can we see what's in the Crates ?" Katie says wagging her tail in curiosity.
"Master, please let us see the contents!~" Kate says, hitting your arm playfully.
With a laugh, you first open the Boxes that contain Supplies that being food,water and other necessities.
"Wow, that's a lot of Snacks Master." Kate says, admiring the number of Snacks you bought.
Next up, Weapons Cases, these hold two brand new rifles that can not be bought anywhere or traded. The only way to get these two Top-class Rifles is to get an Airdrop, that being Russian in this case.
"Owner, what are these?" Katie asks, having never seen such Rifles in person, only in magazines.
"This is the SVD Mk.27 a further development of the same Rifle you saw a while back at New Year's Eve." you say, patting both their Heads.
"But why are there two of the same Rifles?" Katie asks, seeing the other Case open.
"I bought these two High Precision DMR's for you two." you say, handing each of them a Rifle.
They wag their Tails more, this unexpected surprise must be a very pleasant one for them.
"So, you accept them ?" you ask them.
Looking at each other then back to you they nod, and give you kiss on both cheeks.
"Thank you !" they say together.
"You are very welcome my lovely Girlfriends." you say.
Packing everything up, you leave the bag with Roubles in Deiya's hands and telling her to open it when you left.
With the Foxes inside the Vehicle, you take another stroll around it to see if anything's out of place.
Everything seems in order, you wave Deiya and her Sisters goodbye and leave the Outpost.
Happy to have helped in more than one way, you leave the area in your brand new Armoured Vehicle.
With the Sun almost gone, you take a slow and relaxing ride home. Not only for your Foxes to admire the beautiful Sunset, but to give them a tour of the local area.
The ride home should be quite long, considering you have to take the roads at night.The Vehicle has Nightvision and Thermal Optics built-in.
The Foxes soon take a small nap in the backseat that can extend into a small and comfy bed.
