บท 220: Petty Master

Kael strolled down the local town market; it was the same market he had brought Jacquelyn to in the past and given her a stolen bun. The memory of her guilt-creased face replayed in Kael's mind; she was hungry, yet she had wanted to cuss him out for making her eat a stolen bun.

"Master, do you remember there?" Ballister, who was a step behind Kael, asked, "It was there we met the princess that night...she thought you were an abusive father," the young boy smiled. It was a curl of lips filled with sadness. It was just yesterday they all shared breakfast and laughed like they would only live once. Now, evil had befallen them, and they could only watch their backs.
