Back inside the circle, Doom raised the dagger to her chest while her eyes remained fixed on Kael, who was outside the circle.

"You're making a wrong decision, Kael...it'd be better to let the girl leave this realm. Her soul is trapped in self-pity. She won't be able to leave there...all she thinks about is being nothing!" Avyssa started. She noticed Kael wasn't shifting his attention but was watching her every move.

"But if you choose to ride a fool's horse, then I'll let you take the wheel." The demoness stabbed into Jacquelyn's body and cried out.

"Kael! Don't let Jacquelyn's soul leave," Adele opened her eyes and shouted, then went back to chanting her spell.

Doom snickered, "You think the amulet can do anything for you? Something so frivolous, made by a vesper, can't stop me!"
