บท 160: Fighting Kunlun Jong

"Sun Xiaolong, give me techniques the strength to overcome this mighty foe!" As I began to speak, I heard Jong begin a chant of his own. As my chant finished, his did too, and I felt even greater power radiate from his body. An all-around body enhancement technique? Talk about giving wings to a tiger!

He came at me with incredible speed…but even with that speed, I was able to avoid his attacks thanks to the movement technique. It might even be accurate to say that the movement technique gave me speed that still matched his own. "I knew you'd learn some good techniques," he said, "but I wasn't expecting this. It's like I'm trying to catch a cobra with my bare hands!"

"You have some perception," I said, and I had to admit to myself, I was enjoying myself a little now too. "I guess you'd be mad at me if I held back, right? I have a couple tricks that I was hoping to save for the Grand Expedition. But if I don't use them now, you'll wear me down for sure."
