"You know what I see when I look at you?" Paul fisted her hair and pulled her head back, forcing her to meet his gaze. "I see a strong woman who refuses to give up. I see a resilient fire that can not be put out. I see the sexiest and most desirable woman on the planet. If he can not handle your past, he does not deserve your future."

He cupped her face and kissed her. "Do not let him bring you down, alright?"

All she could do was nod.

"Because the woman I know does not let anyone tear her apart not even me."

"Pack your things." The next day early Paul tossed the empty bag on the bed as Regina stood in the doorway with her arms across her chest.

"Why?"

"Unless you want to be naked all the time, I suggest you bring a few things." He opened Regina's underwear drawer and took a peek.
