Bai Liyue's face fell as she heard those words. "What? But why?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.

Before Mu Qingqing could answer, Bai Liyue grabbed her elder sister's arm and raised a question. "Is it still because of that scum, Mo Qinhe? Elder sister, are you still holding onto your past?" she asked, her tone laced with concern.

Mu Qingqing shook her head, trying to explain what had happened between her and Luo Jin, but Bai Liyue didn't give her that chance. She had already assumed that her elder sister had rejected Luo Jin because of her past.
