บท 272: Goodbye letter?

''Diana has resigned already,'' When some staff had to resign, Mary also received a copy of the resignation letter along with the Director for keeping records hence she was aware of it. 

But she never thought that Diana had kept Maxim in the dark. 

Alex burst out in laughter as he looked at Maxim's stony face, ''Pfft. That's what you get when you get involved with your assistants and pamper them like your child. There is after all something that you are not good at,'' he eyed Maxim with pity, ''if you want to learn how to control your assistant, you should learn it from me. Without my permission, my assistant does not even dare to take a sip of water...'' 

''Dr. Qin...'' Mary interrupted the man who was singing praises for himself. 

''What are you interrupting me for?'' Alex eyed her in displeasure.

''I just wanted to inform you that Veronica has already resigned.''
