Everyone knew the name Master of the Strays so long as they did not live beneath a rock. His fame traveled the lands far and wide and no demon was unaware of his heaven-defying might. And if the gods still dwelt within their heavenly abode, there was no doubt that they may have struck him down for his insolence and power.

Alas, Gao Tong did not understand why he was recruited to help such a man. Surely the mightly Master of the Strays did not need his aid. 

And angering the terrible General Zhu was probably not a good idea either.
