Cillian felt threatened when the alpha asked him if any of the enemies were dead. He almost felt as if the alpha would kill him on the spot if he didn’t give a satisfying answer.

He had never felt this terrified of someone ever in his life before. Yes, he used to get bashed by rich people every once in a while. He was used to being pushed around by the people in power. However, the only emotion that he felt towards them was anger, not fear. But this person in front of him, there was something about him that made him terrified to his core even when he hadn’t laid a single finger yet.

“I d-don’t think so, Milord,” Cillian happened to subconsciously stutter.

Romulus slammed his fist on the armrest of his chair and growled, “What? Not a single one of them died?”

Slayer stepped in front of the scared boy and replied, “There were some casualties on their sides as well.”
