"Helfer, what do you think I should get her?" Reuel asks the lizard. 

"All the things Gary has been showing me since yesterday, nothing has caught my eye." He complains. He had sent Gary to almost every jewelry store they owned in Black-Crust. And yet noting reached his expectations.

"And also, I've been thinking, am I supposed to get something for those people too?" Reuel asks. 

"I mean, I really don't want to go there. I thought of coming up with an excuse, because it will really seem awkward being around their family gathering."

"But since I promised, I guess I can't break my promise now. I mean, that's not the reason why I want to get her something. I was going to get her something, but now that she'll be with her family, doesn't that mean I'll have to give them something too? I just can't go there empty-handed."
