STELLA’s POV

After taking a warm bath, I spent the rest of the day resting in the bedroom. Tyler didn’t bother me because he might think that I indeed needed a nap.

When I took a glance at the clock on the wall, I noticed that it was almost dinner time. A knock on the door snapped me out of my thoughts. “Mrs. Lewis, the dinner is ready.”

I slowly got up from the bed and walked towards the door, opening it.

“Hi, Mrs. Lewis, your husband is already waiting for you.” a woman in her early forties told me.

Thank you,” I said softly. “You are…?

She smiled at my questioning look. “Miranda. I’m the caretaker here.”

I smiled and nodded as I followed Miranda walking down the hallways and into the stairs.

When we arrived at the dining room, Tyler was already at the table with Skylar waiting for me.
