Off we went again. Another door to another encampment. There was opposition as I expected, but they were also a lot easier to convince than they would have been if I were alone. Bringing the three demons with me was a good idea.

The next two stops went smoothly. They spoke with the demons who had taken the oaths and agreed to follow me. When they heard the terms of the oath, then seemed to think it was nearly entirely in their benefit. In truth, the only thing I wanted was them to assure that they would not attempt to kill me.

It wasn't that I feared they could kill me. With Rudy, Lex, and myself, it would be nearly impossible for them to assassinate me. Still, I wanted a peaceful realm, and I can't have that if people are going to try to kill me.
