บท 348: Chapter 102- Talia – Erebos Part 2 Volume 3

I had to think quickly. This needed to be dealt with before I headed back to the castle. And there was something else too. Another group I needed to visit, to pass judgement on. I would get to them later, however. Right now, I was focused on Erebos. And he deserved my full attention.

If I were to trust Erebos, to spare his life in lieu of a different punishment, then I needed to guarantee that he was never going to be a threat again. It would have to go deeper than the oath I had asked the other demons for. He needed not only to prove himself to me, but to everyone else in the underworld, that he was not the same man who had tried to kill them all. That he was no longer dangerous.

Yet, how could I do that? Yes, I could ask for his oath, and I would. However, that didn't level a punishment on him. He needed a punishment. Something that was appropriate for the crime, even if he wasn't the one who had started it all in the first place.
