I waited for the bus in front of my house. My story you may ask? I don't have one unless if you count my past, but it won't be told.
The school bus stops in front of my house. The door opens, and I walked on.
I sat down in an empty seat.
The bus starts moving when a girl sits next to me.
"Hi. Are you new here?" The girl asked me.
"Yes. I've moved here over the summer." I replied.
The girl introduced herself. Her name was Carly Hull.
"I'm October James." I told her.
Carly shook my hand.
"I'm so glad that you're here." Carly said smiling shyly.
"Me too. I heard August Martin High School was the best school." I answered.
Carly had a puzzled look on her face.
"Not really October." Carly states.
"Why wouldn't August Martin be the best school?" I exclaimed.
Once when Carly was about to tell the story a water bottle was thrown into my lap. The water spills everywhere in my lap.
A group of kids laughs from the back of the bus.
"Fresh Meat season." A kid shouts from the back of the bus.
Carly looks at the spot on my jeans.
"October, you can't walk into the school like that. We have orientation today." Carly informed.
Carly hands me a towel from her bag.
I patted my jeans dry and then handed the towel back to Carly.
"You keep it. You may need it in the future." Carly said.
"Thanks Carly." I replied.
Then the bus stops at the place that I call it…School.
