Those cities are scattered throughout the world. Each of them operating their territory and engaging in trade.
Yang Feng wore his mask and left the village making Guang Fei in charge of the village in his absences. Shortly after Yang Feng left the village in search of a city.
Yang Feng travelled through the hills avoiding bandits and beasts and after walking for more than seven hours he finally reached a city known as Black moon city. Yang Feng knew the city's location because he often used to come to this city to trade in his past life. When Yang Feng reached the city gate, he was welcomed and greeted by the guards. Even though Yang Feng had worn a mask his title was still recognised by the guards who came to greet a nobility like Yang Feng.
The entrance of Yang Feng had caused curiosity among the players and discussion between them started.
"Why are the guards greeting him??"
"I don't know maybe he is an important NPC"
"I wonder if we could get a quest from him??"
"Why is he hiding his face??"
The city was indeed very beautiful and unlike others, it was very well developed and decorated. All of the buildings were also pretty well managed.
Yang Feng noticed his entrance had attracted attention so he quickly left the area in search of markets. The discussion of the players was relatively small as they thought Yang Feng was an NPC.
Yang Feng went and sold the valuable things he got from the bandit's bases and got around 562 gold coins. Yang Feng then bought a hammer and other things needed for the blacksmith to operate. It cost him a total of 49 gold coins after discount. Yang Feng also bought a blueprint of [Wooden Residential courtyard area] and 200 timber units which cost him 1,150 gold coins with discount.
After he bought everything he needed he wanted to return to the village but realised the sun had set and it was going to be night soon. Travelling the forest in the night was very dangerous so Yang Feng decided to stay in an Inn.
When Yang Feng entered the inn it was very lively. Middle-aged men were drunk while others were chatting and laughing with each other.
Yang Feng remembered the scene when the inn was filled with players after the world was devoured by the [Chaotic Universe]. Yang Feng too was one of those players who used to be drunk.
When it was morning Yang Feng immediately left the city and headed for his village.
When Yang Feng reached the village he saw people working in farms while the construction of the [Basic level Blacksmith's shop] was still going on and the soldiers were training.
The soldiers were close to reaching the rank of [Trained soldiers] under the teaching of Guang Fei and other people. Even though those soldiers and fought the battle it was still not enough for them to reach an even higher rank.
Note: I rearranged the rank of soldiers- Rookie, Trained, Experienced, Professional, Elite, Veteran. I would probably say it is the official ranks of the soldiers. I may change it in the future so I am very sorry if you will be confused.
Yang Feng wanted to increase the rank of his soldier at least to [Trained soldier]. He knew the importance of those ranks as someone from the future. It was said a single [Veteran soldier] rank soldier could defeat a soldier of the same level with just his pressure alone unless he encounters a soldier skilled as him or a higher.
Ranks weren't determined by the talent but were determined through hell-like training, skill, suffering and gathering experience through countless battles. They also had to train their mind by going through endless and painful tortures. After going through all of this only then will the soldier's rank will be determined by the system.
There was also a saying 'If a [Veteran soldier] rank soldier doesn't have battle scars he is a fake' this shows how much fearsome those [Veteran Soldier] rank soldier were. There were countless kings who dreamt of having an army containing only of [Veteran Soldier] rank soldiers but their dream never came true. Even Empires rarely had an army containing only of [Veteran Soldier] rank soldiers. The distance between each rank was like the distance between Earth and the moon.
There was another saying 'If a Sovereign had an army containing Hundred million [Veteran soldier] rank soldiers he could sweep through both outer area and inner area' even though it was largely denied it was still true to some extent.
