Chloe stood looking out her hotel room window, going over everything that had happened in her head. She wanted to feel something, anything, but her heart was in knots and her head was swimming. She knew her life's dream had always been to be with ASE, but not like this. 

Paul opened the adjoining door, knowing he screwed up. "Hey, Chloe. I guess I went too far tonight, huh? I just got my ass fed to me by Gage, my father, and the FBI. Not to mention my bitchy sister." 

She let out a slight laugh. "Did they actually think you would listen to them? You've always been known as the Ashford who goes his own way. That's why ASE started. You and Micheal had to blaze your own path and do your own thing. That's admirable, to be honest. It's why I always had such respect for you. "

He chuckled, saying, "That's true. My father hated that we went into wrestling. It took years before he saw what we did was worthy of the Ashford empire. Anyway, are you okay?"
