Kyle opened his eyes when he sensed everything surrounding him began to slow down, yet despite his efforts, he couldn't hold onto the time around him for more than a fleeting few seconds.

He scrunched up his nose in distaste. Even though he had been battling alongside Old Hal and the others for the past two weeks, in his mind, he had been endeavoring to comprehend the law of time by repeatedly pondering the feeling he experienced when he first wielded the power of time. Despite straining his mind, he only managed to succeed for a fleeting few seconds.

He looked back when he heard Bia's menacing laughter behind him.

"She's having a good time, isn't she?"

He chuckled and watched the phoenix as she controlled the golden flames, engulfing everything beneath her. Kyle's gaze shifted to Ned and Vexana, who were sprawled on the ground in a distant location.
