His memory was exceptional, so he quickly spotted Elijah's car in the crowded parking lot, unlocked it from a distance, and rushed forward. He carefully opened the passenger door, gently placed Isabel Smith inside, his fingers trembling as he fastened her seatbelt. He then hurriedly closed the car door and got in himself.

As he tried to fasten his own seatbelt, his trembling fingertips made it impossible to plug the seatbelt into the slot. Finally, he gave up on the seatbelt, started the engine, and floored the gas pedal, speeding out of the parking lot in a cloud of dust.

Percy drove at an incredibly high speed, reacting quickly and skillfully avoiding the numerous pedestrians in the horse field's yard as he smoothly maneuvered past them.
