The little girl stretched her hands to show how tall the man was. Gala's face filled with concern, trembling as she explained, "He said he would come back to marry you."

Taken aback by Gala's words, Tuzi's mouth opened but no words came out. 

Marry her?! Why would someone she doesn't know want to marry her? Surely it must be a mistake. The only person who wanted to marry her was her silly worm of a husband, Feng. But he is no longer here…

Patting the urchin on her head, the rabbit shifter carefully asked the little one, "Did the mean one really say he will come back to marry me?"

The precocious girl nodded her head up and down, appearing more troubled by the moment. "He did say that. Alpha Aydin told him no. Goddess Tuzi, please don't marry that man. He's very mean. I don't like him. And he hit Alpha Aydin."
