บท 65: Small Truths

"I think we are way past the point of peaceful conversation," she grumbled in response, the irritation was not missed in her voice.

"I'm sure we will find a peaceful resolution," he continued with a tone that was way too cheerful for the Goddess's liking.

Irritating her even further, she started walking faster. Speed walking. Let's see him catch up to her!

Unfortunately, to her chagrin, his very long and muscular legs made it easy to keep pace with her. She furrowed her brows even more, feeling the mounting frustration beating a soft migraine into her forehead.

For the next 20 minutes, they walked in complete silence while the Goddess mentally cursed all the foul words she knew at the man.

"So… Are you done cussing me out yet? Went through your entire dictionary of curse words in multiple different languages...?" he asked in his most charming tone of voice. 

Damn him. There was no one who knew her better than he did.
