บท 231: Dust Settling

Deceptively calm, the Sky God's smooth face revealed not one hint of the storm that raged within him. The foray into Moon's vault of forbidden memories struck more than a few cords. Only the Goddess, with her ever-watchful gaze, could read the turmoil of emotions swirling beneath his surface. 

The Sky God's emerald eyes revealed so much to her.

Moon had known that revisiting the memories would not be easy for anyone. Cedric burying the instances so deeply, benefited not only the Goddess's well being, but others as well. 

Memories such as these contain only carnage.

The moment of shared silence between the two was a long one, as each person took their time unraveling what the recollections mean to them.
