บท 284: Diplomatic Duties

When the music came to a stop and the performance from the court dancers gradually concluded, applause could be heard echoing through the halls. Like he was jolted from a dream, Sky came out of his thoughts and numbly clapped along with everyone else.

Houyi's voice rang loudly to the dancers, "Great job! Great job! Everyone shall be rewarded for their efforts!" Turning to his guest, the ruler mused to the gods, "I hope the dance was to your liking…?"

To which Hel answered jovially, impressed by the efforts this Emperor extended in his hospitality. "Indeed it was a wonderful dance. Your majesty's taste in arts are elegantly refined and your selection in women are… exquisite to say the least."

Houyi appeared intrigued. "Are you interested in mortal women? If any one of my dancers caught your fancy, let me know. I will have her promptly sent to your chambers! If it pleases you, you may have all of them!"
