บท 175: Another Type of Sorcery

Quickly jolting Tuzi awake from her bout of despair, the rabbit shifter lurched back glancing at the divine artifact, cradled in her hands. It was still glowing! The voice responded to her!

Her heart was thumping ever so fervently, as she spoke desperately into it, "He– Hello…?! Who… Who are you…? I am Tuzi— Urr— Zhuyi! Please, tell me who you are…! Is Xiao Bai with you…? Is she alright…?"

For once, after the rabbit shifter had spoken into the shell, she was not greeted with a wall of complete silence. Tuzi heard a soft sigh drift from the artifact, almost as if the speaker was sitting in the same space as her. 

She waited patiently, hoping that the voice would communicate with her once more. 

Tuzi was not disappointed, as her yearnings were answered when the stranger responded, "Xiao Bai is fine… She is doing well. She helps out with the children at the school. She is loved by everyone who meets her. What a darling girl…"
