บท 170: A Woman in Power

Swallowing nervously, the man sputtered out the name of the offending person, "It is the Moon Goddess."

The news hit Taiga like a physical blow, leaving him momentarily stunned and speechless.

"The one who now sits on the seat as Alpha, is the Moon Goddess. She is known as Alpha Tuzi of the New Moon tribe."

Elation triggered a myriad of stars and lights to set off in Taiga's head. His heart thumped rapidly, like an unrelenting iron hammer against his rib cage.

"Alpha Tuzi… Tuzi…" he mused whimsically, a slow smile etching itself across his lips. 

His mate has a name and it is quite lovely.

Continuing somberly, his advisor warned, "Her rise to power came swiftly, after residing in New Moon for only a few months– Maybe a year at most. Wild stories about her quick ascension are spreading like rapid fire. Rumors from dark sorcery to urrm– pleasure and seduction… There are many versions of the tale. Each one is more salacious than the last."
