"You fell asleep on the floor."

Emma pointed to the couch beside him.

Link rubbed his forehead and got up from the floor with the blanket.

"You're welcome."

Emma bit her lip, walking to the bedroom door. "The bed in the bedroom is bigger. It can fit two people."

Link glanced at the open bedroom door, smiled slightly, and walked into the bedroom with the blanket.

Emma was already lying on the bed, eyes closed tightly, covered with a thin wool blanket, her chest rising and falling rapidly.

Link turned off the light and lay down on the bed, listening to the breath and heartbeat beside him gradually quicken.

Link pulled the blanket from Emma and covered himself as well.

"Don't move."

Emma said with her eyes still closed.

Link smiled softly, lying on the bed and staring at the ceiling.

After a nap, he felt more energetic. The night outside was deep, the sea gently lapping against the sandbar, and the occasional passing car only brought a gust of wind, signaling a long night ahead.

As the breathing beside him gradually calmed down, Link reached out his arm and placed it on her body.

The girl kept her eyes closed, her breathing quickening again, her heart pounding against his arm.

Link pulled her into his arms and gently kissed her.

Suddenly, the girl opened her dark brown eyes, pushed him, and wrapped her arms around his neck.

The ceiling light went out.

Starlight invaded the bedroom through the window; they were lovers bathing in the starlight.
