บท 62: Chapter 62

Chloe's husband's name is James similar to James Cardan's dad so I'm changing his name from James the husband of Cloe to Liam the husband of Cloe.

As soon as the two left the house was silent again.

"Is this lunch packed for Noa" Remy asked as he watched Cardan put it in the fridge.

Cardan shook his head "No I make hers as fresh as possible. In other words I wake up at four in the morning and after doing my morning exercises I cook for her. This is just for me"

Remy smiled at him "You're really in love with her"

"I thought you'd know considering how I am when it concerns her" Cardan stated a small smile of adoration on his face.

A comfortable silence followed soon after and was broken my Cardan.

"Do you wanna investigate what happened to that girl?" Cardan asked Remy who flinched in shock.

"I...I do. But the girl prob-proably wouldn't like that" Remy replied as he continued wiping the dishes that Zaden and Easton washed with a cloth.

Some that remained (due to not being washed) moved to the washing machine.

"You aren't wrong, but all we can do for now is keep an eye out. Because for some reason it feels like something worse is going to happen."

"Mmh I see what you mean"

"And Remy if you ever need to talk just know you have us okay" Cardan smiled his way.

Remy paused as his eyes reddened "Yeah I will"

"Why you crying now. You're making me look like the bad guy" Remy chuckled at his words wiping his tears away.

As soon as he was done Remy moved to his room. His parents had rented the room next to Cardan for him for a year. So him and Cardan where basically flatmates.

He entered his flat the only difference was that his room had darker sheds of brown.

A luxury black car arrived at a large modern home to pick up a people, that being Brianna and Noa.

They where both dressed in silk dresses Brianna's gold and Noa silver. Their hair was done and they quickly rushed to the car.

"I still can't believe the company invited us over for the party we're barely there" Noa said as she fixed her shoes.

"It just means that they value us as future stars" Brianna replied as she fixed her makeup.

A week ago she was invited to a gathering with all of Jin's wealthy friends and now to a party for all workers of the company. Jin must have planned this all for her.

"How long is it gonna take anywhy. I want to return home quickly and I haven't even told Cardan about this" Noa said as she immediately took out her phone which Brianna grabbed away from her.

"Why should you tell him where you go. Don't tell me he's already got control over you."

"It's not that but he's my boyfriend it's not like I'm asking for permission to go I'm just telling him Anna."

Brianna rolled her eyes "Then why did Zaden call and ask you if you told Cardan that you where going to the party you looked guilty."

"It's because I forgot to tell him. You know how stressful the theatre club is and school especially now in our final year."

"Then you'll tell him tomorrow for now don't think about him think about tonight and about how much fun you're going to have. After all it's not always you get to rub shoulders with the rich and famous. Or did you forget that Lola is going to be there too"

"Why didn't you say that earlier. I wonder if she'll give me a few hints if I ask her?" Noa said absentmindedly.

Brianna sighed in relief glad to have taken her mind off of Cardan.

Lola was equivalent to Cloe. They where equally famous. Or that's what what the media likes to say but in all truth Cloe had more accolades.

They're just saying this because Cloe now does one series and one movie per year since she got married and got pregnant.

People only know that Lola and Cloe where friends until Lola slept with her fiance.

Apparently the fiance threatened Lola if she didnt sleep with him and the country hated such man and punished him.

Thank God for the new generations mindset to not punish the woman for the man's faults.

The netizens thought that Lola and Cloe would be buddy buddy again but it didn't happen. Some understood Cloe while others felt like she was making a mountain out of nothing.

What the media didn't know was that Lola had been seducing Cloe's ex-fiance for years.

Lola had been jealous of her but it died down when she became equally as popular that was until three years later with her and Cloe not meeting she was surprised to learn that she had married into the secret wealthy family the Chang's she didn't even know about them until a business man she dated told her about them and she was envious.

In all respect people began to know a little about the Chang's after Cloe married Liam but not much was still known just that they were an untouchable wealthy.

She tried entering their circles in order to seduce them but the glare Liam Chang gave her steered her away.

And the flowing week she lost brand deals and acting roles. Her tour was shut down.

She thought her career was over until two months passed and she received a message that said that the next time she tries to pull that same sh*t she'll be wiped out from the entertainment industry for good.

"We're here" Noa said as the door was opened for her and Brianna followed after before receiving a message.

The building was a high skyscraper with a blue carpet on the ground leading the way.

She told Noa to enter the large building before her as she stood outside. It was a message from the special group she joined when she was fifteen during the end of the year.

They where called triple X filled with rich people that also happened to be the top in their school.

As in rulers of their school. How they did it was out of discussion.

It's also where Brianna got those two girls from. They where also what made it easier to threaten Mariella into submission.

Looking around she quickly answered the call.

"I heard there's a Remy going to your school I need you to arrange a time and place for us so we can...greet him. Of course I'll pay you" a deep yet familar voice said.

Brianna's eyes brightened at the the amount she would get.

"I'll see what I can do" the other person hanged up and anoher ding came from her phone.

It was a transfer of money with a message saying the rest would come later.

Brianna grinned even more as she entered the building.
