บท 55: Chapter 55
Their attention turned to the front as the principal entered with a man they had never seen.
He was dressed in a yellow shirt and a grey suit that looked a bit too big on him. His hair was jelled back. He was skinny yet lengthy and had a strict face and bored eyes. He was also carrying a briefcase with him.
"Class this is Mister Fang. His new as some of you may not be able to recognise him. He will also be your class teacher for this year and your English teacher." the principal finished as he let his words sink in.
"Good morning Mister Fang" the class greeted in English after a few seconds of awkward silence
Mister Fang nodded in satisfaction at them calmly "Good morning too you too" he returned.
The principal smiled before leaving to return back to his work.
As soon as he left Mister Fang put his brief case on his desk before speaking once again "The class reps will be the same as those from last year is there any problems with that?" he asked solely.
"No" the class said as some just shook their heads.
"Good now since I don't know you I'll be giving you a set of tests to see how far your level is" the class groaned. They had just returned from an amazing vacation only for them to begin working once again. Especially considering it was still their register period.
The man opened his brief case and began handing out his papers.
Mia and Remy helped hand out his papers. There were only question five questions on the paper which mainly focused on nouns, adverbs, verbs, types of speech and sentence structure.
Which was difficult for some of the students who mostly got thier marks in question one to four or other papers like paper 2 and 3.
All that could be heard in class was the turning of pages and pen on paper.
"I heard the new teacher immediately had you writing a test as soon as he arrived" Noa said as she teased Cardan.
Cardan pouted with his arm wrapped around her shoulders "A three hour one at that, your boyfriend needs some healing after that long battle" Noa blushed at that.
"And what kind of help can I provide" Noa said her face still red.
"A kiss" Cardan pouted his lips in a kissing motion and Noa pushed him away.
"Noway especially not at school" she said as she ran away with him.
Cardan pouted as his shoulders shrugged down.
"I can't believe you girlfriend just rejected you" Easton mocked appearing only after Noa had left.
Cardan glared at him "She didn't reject me she's just shy in public. Public display isn't really her thing"
Easton laughed at him "Keep telling yourself that, next thing you know you'll be sleeping on the couch on your wedding day" he said as he continued to tease him.
Cardan rolled his eyes in annoyance as he speed walked away from him. Easton ran to catch up with him before calming down.
"So what do you think of the new teacher?" Easton asked fixing his glasses.
Cardan shrugged his shoulders "He's not bad, although I do like that he made us work so quickly targetting most of the students weaknesses early on will help us improve and get higher marks"
Easton frowned "Does that mean I'll be forced to attend even more extra classes if I get lower marks in this paper."
"Yep, it will be helpful in the long run especially if you want to go to CU" Cardan said as he popped the P a mocking smile on his face.
Easton ignored the mocking tone from him "As if attending extra classes until six wasn't enough now I have to add to extra hours" Easton said as he rubbed his hair in frustration.
"Don't forget about the holiday classes that start from 08:00-22:00 and only one subject per day" Cardan added.
"Where are Remy and Zaden anywhy?" Cardan asked as they entered the cafeteria.
"I thought you where with them but honestly I don't know where they are either" Easton replied as he joined the line for food.
"Wh-y are yo-u asking me this Cardan is the one in the relat-ionsh-ip?!" Remy exclaimed.
Zaden had pulled Remy over to the basketball court to ask for some help concerning Mia.
"Except before helping me Cardan is going to mock me for days and won't let it go. Easton is out of the question, which leaves you who just so happens to know girls the best" Zaden replied as he searched his head in frustration.
Remy tilted his head a little"Is it be-cause all my cou-cousins are girls?" Remy questioned.
Zaden moved his eyes away from Remy before whispering "Partly but come on who else but you knows girls the best"
Remy sighed before answering "Fine I'll he-help jus-t g-give me a few days I'll ne-need to con-contact my cousins"
"How many days are we talking" Zaden inquired and immediately Remy gave him a look.
"Okay okay talk to your cousins and we'll see from there. Now let's go the two are probably wondering where we are?" Zaden said as he pulled Remy along with him too class.
"I dou-doubt it Cardan would mo-most likely be spen-spending time with Noa" Remy said as he walked along side Zaden.
"He would be if Noa didn't have a drama meeting today" Zaden responded. Remy nodded as they entered the cafeteria.
Zaden went to get their drinks when he noticed none on their table as Remy headed to their table where Cardan and Easton where eating. Remy immediately went for the dumplings that Easton had collected for them.
After swolling his food Cardan began speaking "He was asking you for dating advice wasn't he"
Remy paused before continuing eating "Emhum"
"Typical" Easton replied.
