It was also pretty obvious that guys also had a crush on Mia which made the female students even angrier especially when they found out that Derick the son of one of the wealthiest people in the country wanted her to be his model.

Although it was to piss off Zaden by being next to his girl no one cared enough to get the full story.

After Zaden threatened to break his neck Derick backed away not because he was scared that he'd lose but because he knew there was no chance of him leaving without any permanent scars.

Scars that would serve as a reminder of the fight that happened between him and Zaden. For a girl that wasn't even his type. No offense to Mia who was beautiful but she really wasn't his type at all. He wasn't going to risk it at all.
