On day two, we got sharpening stones into the mix. No, I'm seriously not kidding. I am, among other things, a Truthspeaker. I am literally incapable of lying to you. If I had the option, I still wouldn't; my current theory is that Truthspeaker is my core class. If I lose Truthspeaker, everything resets and I start over with nothing but half points. Or maybe your System works differently; when I sell my stuff back, I get only half the points that were put into it.
In any case, they hadn't given up on trying to physically break us down. One hundred spear tips, two whetstones, and the expectation that by the end of the day we'd be done. Yes, that's over three thousand spear tips, for which I hope they got a good commission from the army's logistics branch.
It was the second whetstone that was the giveaway. I plunked it into my System Construction module, and just let it do the basic sharpening. Then, for quality, I finished up by hand.
Don't worry; Rhishi isn't getting anything easy and he's not always going to have the right answer. (And, spoiler alert, it's never good when the drill sergeant knows you by name.)
So hopefully, if I'm showing enough, and not telling, the readers among you have noticed the strain on the drill sergeants. And if not, please let me know; the first stage of writing better is to know how what you're writing is wrong.
As always, thank you all for your ongoing support. I promise the background chapters for the next section are almost done, and a time skip is coming.
