บท 70: First Kiss

Rob walked beside Dacey with anxiety filling his heart. He didn't know what the verdict of his performance was and he knew if it was a negative one, he wouldn't even get to know it from her directly.

As they walked away from the theatre, the crowd started thinning and Rob's anxiousness only grew further. He started stealing glances at her occasionally. The fact that they haven't spoken a single word since they stepped out of the theatre was giving him a bad feeling as well.

"So," Rob spoke trying to work out a means to get to know her thoughts, "did you enjoy the movie?"

"It was alright," Dacey said shrugging.

That reply made him feel a bit more dejected. Until now, he had been banking on the movie being good enough to offset his terrible performance. But now, that hope was also dashed.

"Oh," Rob said not knowing how to continue the conversation.
