The days were ticking down and Colette Monet was beginning to become more and more antsy as time dwindled, and fast.

With her fight against Francine Gauthier on the horizon, she began to believe in herself less and less. She worked daily to train with Nora and though she was getting faster with her reflexes, she worried that it wouldn’t be enough.

“Are you still sure you can win?” Rosie asked innocently. “You don’t seem so certain anymore.”

“I …” Colette stared out the window as she sat in her house with the redhead, “I don’t know. I’m hoping I can pull this off.”

“I know you can do it. You’re the strongest girl I know.”

Was she, though? Colette wasn’t sure. But those doubts and worries would be pushed to the side for now, as she tried to figure out who had been tracking her this entire time. It was part of the mystery that she didn’t have any information on.
