"She did not wake up?" Ivy asked. 

"She did not want to, "Ethan answered. "I would feed her food and then she would go back to sleep. Will you be okay eating on your own?"

Ivy shrugged, asking him to go ahead. All she cared about was eating dinner and then going back to sleep. Almost half an hour later, they were sitting at the dining table wondering what might have gone wrong with Esmeralda. 

"Could it be that she had a bad day at work?" Ethan asked even though the idea did not set well with him. Esmeralda was not the kind of woman who would begin crying just because she had a bad day at work.

"Nah, it doesn't make sense, "Ivy answered him. "Could it be that she had a nightmare? One time, she had a nightmare and she had been crying badly after this. But…"

"But what?" Ethan asked her immediately.
